On 23, 24 and 25 May 2026, Saint-Malo hosts one of France’s largest literary festivals: Étonnants Voyageurs — which means Astonishing Travellers. Over 3 days, 150 authors from around the world gather across 12 venues in the city for talks, readings, debates and film screenings.
If you are in port during these dates, this is a great opportunity. Entry to the book fair is free, and events take place throughout the city. A wonderful way to explore Saint-Malo and connect with writers and stories from every corner of the globe — just like you.
